PACC Trap And Release Cat Program - Admin - 12-15-2024  #DYK? In fiscal year '23-'24, PACC's Community Cats team provided TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) services to 2,142 Pima County cats! That's thousands of cats living happier, healthier lives and countless unwanted litters prevented. ? TNR is proven to be the most humane and effective approach to reducing the overpopulation of cats in our community, and PACC's team is committed to getting these services to the cats and community members who need them. In addition to the cats TNR'ed, the team also answered 1,877 requests from help from members of the public and loaned out 610 humane traps, allowing our community to be a part of the solution. Our Community Cats program is made possible by Friends of Pima Animal Care Center, Arizona Companion Animal Spay/Neuter (funded by buying AZ Pet Plates!), and other organizations. ?
