Meet Rooks at PACC - Admin - 12-29-2024  Meet Rooks! ♟️ This vibrant young guy first arrived at PACC back in June and sadly was one of those pups that really struggled in the shelter environment. He unfortunately found himself on a deadline in November due to his significant level of stress in the shelter, but a dedicated dog walker volunteer stepped up to foster him and quite literally saved his life! ? #FosteringSavesLives   While in foster, Rooks has really blossomed from an unruly toddler who never had any structure to a tween who is well on his way to being a productive member of society. That’s where you come in! Rooks would much rather continue his journey in a long-term foster or adoptive home than back in a shelter kennel. His foster is generously offering continued professional training support post-adoption. Here are some of the highlights we've learned about Rooks in his time in foster: ✔️ Absolutely adorable, especially when snuggling ✔️ Great potential to live with another dog(s) with appropriate intros ✔️ Gives the best kisses (if a little sloppy) ✔️ Crate trained, not destructive when left free rein in one-room she shed ✔️ House broken with appropriate breaks ✔️ Nose of a blood hound (could excel at scent detection) Ask to meet this special guy before he goes back to the shelter on 1/5/25 by emailing pacc.adoptafoster@pima.gov. ??
